Running an assessment

A NISTnow assessment is a set of guided questions drawn from the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0. The sections below walk through one.

Answering with guidance

Each question comes with guidance that explains what it is asking in practice and why it matters. Read the guidance, then pick the answer that best matches how your business works today. If something does not apply to you, you can mark it as not applicable.

Saving your progress

You do not have to finish in one sitting. Your answers are saved as you go, so you can step away and come back to resume from where you stopped.

Submitting when you are ready

When you have answered everything, you submit the assessment to generate your results. You can see a free preview of those results before deciding whether to unlock the full report.
